So this was the first weekend in a while that we didn’t have something planned, and we really enjoyed the family time. We went to church and then out to eat with Miss Lana, and she really did a great job! When she was even tinier, she did NOT like going to any restaurant, especially if it was loud. It would make me nervous to even try, because I didn’t want to ruin anyone else’s time. Well, she is almost 9 months now, and she is becoming much more social! She just wants to observe everything around her. Her daddy just held her in his lap through the whole meal, and she was very content just watching everything going on. We were waiting on a high chair to become free (it was packed), but we didn’t even end up needing one.
Then we headed on over to Bed Bath & Beyond to look at some curtains, because our living room was in desperate need of something eye catching around the windows. Lana can sit in the cart now, which adds some more fun to our shopping trips.
Time sure does fly when you are having fun! We found some beautiful curtains, and Lana got to stay up past her bed time. I think she knew that, and she decided to take full advantage of it. It was almost like she was saying, “You know it’s past my bed time, right?”
We got home and Lana was out for the count. We now have some amazing curtains in our living room, and we are going to keep updating everything. All of the beautiful light flowing in makes for some positive vibes and some great bonding time. Lana just loved laying in front of the window in one of my favorite Carter’s outfits and her Target headband that she got as gifts. I can’t help but have flowers all over her clothes, since her middle name is Rose. 😉 The pictures below are the curtains we picked out and paired together. Just click on the pictures to find them.
We hope all of you out there had a great, relaxing weekend and some family time as well! We are looking forward to the new week ahead. Talk to you all soon! 🙂
