It’s funny that I decided to do a post about Mama time when Mother’s Day will be here soon. I have to say that it is very healthy to get away by yourself every now and then for a little pampering. After you become a Mom, you pretty much forget what it is like to be out on your own without a little one. Let me tell you, it can be very refreshing to not have to get a huge diaper bag, a baby, and a stroller ready to go every time you get out of the car. This is why I love when I get my hair done! I am able to take a little bit of time for myself, while my Hubby gets some more special, bonding time with Lana. All this being said, I can’t help but miss her every time we are apart…Motherhood.
When I was out, I had to drop by a couple places to shop around, of course. This limited time to try on clothes without worrying about Lana crying or getting cranky is precious! 😉 I always love a good, casual outfit. Stripes are my absolute favorite! I wore an old H&M shirt, my go-to American Eagle jeans, and my favorite, comfy American Eagle sandals that are directly linked in my previous post.
Speaking of Mama time, what girl doesn’t love getting to try out a bunch of beautiful, designer jewelry?! I just got my second Rocksbox set, and I am so excited about all of it. I asked for some delicate, more versatile pieces that can go with many outfits, and my personal stylist came through! I paired the set with a cute sweater on this chilly, Spring day. The “Knox Pavé Bar Necklace” is by Gorjana, and the “Pavé Open Circle Studs” are by Sophie Harper.
I also have some extremely tiny wrists, so I asked for a smaller, cute cuff. My stylist sent me this beautiful, adjustable “Peak to Peak Cuff” by House of Harlow 1960. It fits my wrist so well! I truly am so impressed with the great, personalized service that Rocksbox provides. It really is addicting. If you want to try a month for free, just use my promo code roseliningxoxo at checkout at www.rocksbox.com! 🙂 Also, people have asked about the adorable booties in this picture. They are from Payless ShoeSource, and you can get them here! 🙂 They pretty much go with everything!
As much as I love me some Mama time, Lana’s smile is my absolute favorite thing that I get to see every single day. She is the best Mother’s Day gift I could ask for this year. For all who don’t know me personally, Lana was born on the anniversary of the day Ashton proposed to me and also the day after Mother’s Day. It is a special time for all of us. 🙂
Mother’s Day will be here before we know it! I hope all you Moms have some special things planned for you!
