Happy Monday! I’m always a fan of cute and comfortable looks, and this ruffle tee dress is the perfect way to make casual more fun. If you have been following the trends, ruffles are also really big right now. Ruffles are just so feminine, and you all know that I appreciate that! 😉 So today I will be sharing this cute dress by Fancy Frills Boutique, and I am also going to be sharing what my Husband and I did for our 3rd anniversary this past weekend. 🙂
First of all, this dress is on sale right now for $22.99! It is also available in a bunch of different colors. I picked the color “Sage”, and I am wearing a Size Small. I wore this dress while my Husband (Ashton) and I were out running a few errands before we started to celebrate our third anniversary on Friday.
Ashton and I have so many dreams that we have shared for years, and we have so many places we want and plan to travel to eventually. For our 3rd anniversary this year, we made everything simple. We had family watch our two-year-old daughter (Lana), and we spent the whole day, evening, and next morning alone together. We didn’t watch television, we didn’t use our phones, and we just spent time together. We ate dinner alone together, and we spent the whole night talking…about everything. First of all, this is a big deal in itself as a married couple with a toddler. This was also the first night I had ever spent away from Lana since she was born. It is so healthy for everyone to make sure and do this every now and then.
Ashton took time a couple months ago to secretly cut out slips of paper with serious and fun questions to ask each other (seriously, so sweet). We found out so much more about each other by just asking certain questions. How often do you take time to spend with your spouse without any distractions whatsoever? How often do you really just talk and listen to one another? Make time. It is such a blessing to your marriage. There is no other way I would have liked to spend this specific anniversary. Sharing quality, real time with my Husband. Taking time to truly appreciate each other, and discover even more about your best friend. We also had some good drinks while we were at it. 😉
The next morning we had a delicious breakfast together, and then we gladly went to go pickup Lana (I can’t deny how excited we were to see our baby girl). That’s just parent life. 🙂 No matter if you are in a relationship or not, make sure to take quality time for yourself and your loved ones. Get rid of all distractions, and just appreciate life for what it is.
